RESIDENCES

The government defines supported housing as accommodation provided alongside support, supervision or care to help people live as independently as possible in the community. This is the main philosophy that we subscribe to as we continue to promote the autonomy of all individuals who use our properties. Our practice is termed as active support as we view this as part of community integration.

Behaviour Support Plan

A behaviour support plan is a document created to help understand and manage behaviour in individuals who have learning disabilities and people with Autism who present with behaviour that others may find challenging. A behaviour support plan provides and equips our staff with a comprehensive step by step guidance of ensuring that the individual being supported has a significant quality of life and promotes staff to identify when intervention is required to prevent episodes of challenging behaviour.

Person Centered Care Plan

All our residents have specific care plans which are person centred to their needs. The care plan is a unique working document that is personalised to all our residents to ensure effective support and care of all needs identified.

Within each behaviour support plan as well as care plan we recognise that the importance of creating a positive environment where people feel safe and supported, hence our aim and reason of ensuring that all our staff are trained to exceptionally high standards targeted at creating positive environments within our residences.
